The school has had a uniform for many years now and the decision to adopt one was made by our Governing body for several reasons.
Firstly, it was considered that a uniform would help foster a sense of belonging amongst the pupils. Secondly, the governors were mindful of peer group pressure and the potential costs in keeping up with the latest fashion or fad should we not adopt a uniform. Our bulk purchase and stocking of uniform also means that we can monitor the cost and the quality of the garments we receive from our supplier. Finally, our red uniform does help identify our pupils both on the school grounds and when out on school trips!
The school uniform style of dress is as follows :-
